VOTING MEETING OF MARCH 18, 2026

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m. by D. Dupuis

II. Review of Minutes
a. November Meeting
Motion 0301: M. Cambridge made a motion to approve the minutes as
submitted, D. Dupuis seconded. It was unanimously approved.

a. Adult Craft Night – Nov. 21: Pinecone flower arrangements (sold out)
Sold out, went well
b. Coffee Culture – Nov. 22
Had 18 attendees, hosting again on 3/29
c. Barnyard Buddies – Dec. 12: Annabelle’s Wish
Only had 4 kids (people were disappointed there was no cow)
d. Night of Lights – Dec. 13-14, 20-21: Grinch Night, Hometown Heroes,
Elsa/Anna w/ ice sculpture, and a magician
Got rid of Friday nights, attendance was similar to last time (not a
lot of increase?)
Discontinuing in the future

f. Stitch Sessions – Jan. 3: Knitting, Crochet, New-To-You Workshop
Knitting sold out, craft class didn’t run
g. History Lecture Series – Jan. 5: Pontiac Transportation Museum
Over 40 people
h. Milk Mustache Bash – Jan. 10: National Dairy Day
Didn’t get enough people to run
i. B.Y.O. Craft Night – Jan. 15:
Not enough people (canceling program)
j. Barnyard Buddies – Jan. 19:
Cancelled due to low attendance
k. Brushes & Beaks – Jan. 23: Painting + a bird walk
Rescheduled to Jan. 30, had 10 people
l. History Lecture Series – Feb. 5: Detroit Public Library & Architecture
Over 70 people, went really well
m. Stitch Sessions – Feb. 7: Crochet
Sold out crochet, craft didn’t run
n. Volunteer Orientation – Feb. 12
Had 22 people (not everyone turned in paperwork)
o. Cultures & Cuisines: Lunar New Year – Feb. 21
New program, October will get a Jewish heritage
Speaker did everything for free

Had a good turnout for age range (got to dissect an owl pellet)

a. Geer Store exterior painting and wood repair in spring/summer (after roof)
b. Church interior painting complete
c. Garage roof – winter / spring (“hopefully soon”)

e. Church gutter – done March 10
f. Geer Store roof – spring; going to council & preservation
g. Hill House couch reupholstery – done!
h. Interior windows cleaned – 3/2-3/3
i. Newburgh School accessible ramp plans, being “reviewed” (again) by
preservation
VIII. Walk On Items
a. None
IX. Vision21 Goals: What goal do we focus on first, and how to we accomplish
the goal?
o Engage visitors in positive learning experiences about Livonia’s history
through tours and programming.
o Expand outreach to schools, libraries, and non-profits through
presentations, publications, or traveling exhibits.
o Develop exhibits to reach a broader audience and attract new visitors to
Greenmead.
o Transfer documentation of artifacts from paper to digital records utilizing
Past Perfect and providing online access to our archives.
Adjournment: L. Hakala made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:07 p.m. and M.
Cambridge seconded it. It was unanimously approved.
Next meeting: Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 6:30 p.m. at the Alexander Blue House.
