Livonia x Embody Dance Conference – Monthly Project Update Date: June 2025 Event Date: Sunday, November 16, 2025 Loca?on: Livonia Marrio? Presented by: Livonia Arts Commission in collabora?on with Embody Dance Conference Status: ON TRACK ?????? Project Purpose To provide free, high-quality dance training to dancers aged 13+ in the Livonia area by partnering with the na?onal nonprofit Embody Dance Conference, making professional instruc?on accessible to all regardless of financial background. ?? Key Accomplishments to Date  Venue Reserved: Marrio? Livonia confirmed for November 16, 2025.  Funding Secured: o $5,500 awarded by the Hardies Family Trust for program costs. o Livonia Arts Commission commi?ed $2,000 toward space rental.  Partnership Finalized: Embody will handle marke?ng, registra?on (via Dancebug), insurance, logis?cs, and event staffing.  Program Outline Set: 6 dance classes featuring na?onal-level faculty; inclusive, sensory-aware setup; wristbands, name tags, and photo/video documenta?on.  Marke?ng Campaign Ini?ated: Social media FAQs and planning underway; Livonia studios iden?fied for outreach. ???? Next Steps (July–August 2025) 1. Launch Social Media Marke?ng: Begin Instagram/Facebook promo?on (#LivoniaArtsCommission #FriendsOfLivoniaArts). 2. Studio Outreach: Managed primarily by Embody, with support from the Livonia Arts Commission. 3. Finalize Tech Setup: Confirm sound system and microphone needs. 4. Plan Day-Before Load-In: Coordinate hotel contract for early setup access. ????????? Open Ques?ons / Decisions  Promo?onal Messaging: Already provided to Embody by the Arts Commission.  Community Engagement Add-ons: Decision made not to include a panel or networking session for this event. ????
