The Regular Meeting of the Water and Sewer Board of the City of Livonia, Michigan,
held on Monday, October 7, 2024 was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Acting Chairman
Valerie Jackson. Roll was called with the following present:

September 9, 2024 are hereby approved.

2. Letter dated September 20, 2024 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject:
Request for Consideration of Bill - Lori Hill, 31555 Pembroke
Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little
#WS 6646 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms Hill the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twelve (12) month
extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all
new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during

this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
At the request of the petitioner, the account at 31555 Pembroke will be put on a
“payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings
from now on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence
within the next thirty days. During the Twelve (12) month payment plan, each
monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in
good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan agreement.
The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated September 16,
2024 in the amount of $83.62.

3. Letter dated October 1, 2024 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject:
Request for Consideration of Bill - Sultana Khaleel, 20000 Farmington
Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Rich Skaggs
#WS 6647 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Khaleel the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twelve (12) month
extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all
new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be

Request for Consideration of Bill - Kyle Demaline, 33024 Grennada
Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little
#WS 6648 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Demaline the Water
and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twenty-four (24)
month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including
all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
At the request of the petitioner, the account at 33024 Grennada will be put on a
“payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings
from now on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence
within the next thirty days. During the Twenty-four (24) month payment plan, each
monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024, 2025 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account
is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan
agreement.

5. Letter dated September 17, 2024 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject:
Request for Consideration of Bill - Tim Newton, 14043 Brentwood
Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little
#WS 6649 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Newton the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twelve (12) month
extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all
new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.

Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in
good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan agreement.

2024 in the amount of $100.79.

6. Letter dated October 7, 2024 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject:
Request for Consideration of Bill - Shannon Priest, 15068 Blue Skies
Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Rich Skaggs
#WS 6650 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Priest the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twenty-Two (22)
month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including
all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
At the request of the petitioner, the account at 15068 Blue Skies will be put on a
“payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings
from now on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence
within the next thirty days. During the Twenty-Two (22) month payment plan, each
monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024, 2025 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account
is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan
agreement.
The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated September 16,
2024 in the amount of $225.50.

#WS 6651 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Magill the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twenty-four (24)
month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including
all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
At the request of the petitioner, the account at 9920 Arden will be put on a “payment
plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings from now
on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence within the
next thirty days. During the Twenty-four (24) month payment plan, each monthly
bill is to be paid in full and on time.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024, 2025 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account
is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan
agreement.

#WS 6652 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Sellers the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twenty-four (24)
month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including
all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration

date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.

Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024, 2025 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account
is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan
agreement.
The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated September 16,
2024 in the amount of $115.94.

#WS 6653 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Humphries the Water
and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Twelve (12)
month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including
all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in

Motioned by Candy Little seconded by Rich Skaggs
#WS 6654 10/24 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Grima the Water and
Sewer Board does hereby grant effective October 7, 2024 a Fifteen (15) month
extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all
new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during
this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration
date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees
incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account.
At the request of the petitioner, the account at 14470 Parklane will be put on a
“payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings
from now on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence
within the next thirty days. During the Fifteen (15) month payment plan, each
monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time.
Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be
assigned to the 2024 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in
good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan agreement.
The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated September 16,
2024 in the amount of $185.32.

take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that
they did not appear at the October 7, 2024 meeting.
