Meeting was called to order at 6:04 P.M.

Approval of the November 2, 2023, Minutes: Approved
Financial Report:
A. Passbook Account Balance-Estimated $ 9,935.05
B. Trust Fund Account Balance-Estimated $21,690.24
Motions:

November 2, 2023 Minutes:
o Motion 23-12-1: The Motion was made by Commissioner Bonanno and seconded
by Commissioner Jaisankar. Motion carried.
Announcements and Communications:
Backpack Program: Discussed Amazon purchase order issue for school supplies.
Purchase order to be reentered to accounting.
Youth Summit: The 2024 Youth Summit is set to be held at Schoolcraft’s Vistatech
st
Center on February 21. Discussed keynote speaker’s agenda and topics. Attendees were
estimated to be 225 participants. Discussed current survey response and possible ways to
increase distribution. Planned event timeline and breakaway sessions. Discussed
community leaders and specials that will be invited to discuss the topics. Commissioner
Bonanno to speak with Director of Secondary Programs & District Services for LPS, Kevin
Etue, regarding survey distribution. Commissioner Bonanno will also request that attendee
invites are distributed. Any students that accept will be asked if they will require
transportation for the event.

Additional dates can be scheduled with approval.
Adjournment: Motion 23-12-2: The motion was made by commissioner Anderson and seconded by
commissioner Jaisankar to adjourn at 6:53 P.M. Motion carried.
