April 9th,1948
Minutes of the Public clearing of the Livonia Township Zoning;
Board, held in the Township Hall, April 9th, 1948.
This meeting is to consider petitions for changes in Zoning.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P.M. by Chairman Johnston.
Members present: Carson. Johnston, Chairman, George Bentley,
Robert Rewey, Walter Russell, and Attorney John Ambrose.
Mr. Bentley reads the legal notice of. the Public earing.
Petition Ivo.1, on the property described as follows:
Beginning et a point in the northerly line
of Munger Avenue, which is 750 feet westerly
of the Intersection of the Westline of Middle-
belt Road, along the said northerly lino of
Munger Avenue; thence running Westerly along
the Northerly line on Munger Avenue 100 feet
to a point; thence running northerly along an
imaginary line which is parallel to Midd.lebelt
Road 410.91 feet to a point; thence running
easterly along an imaginary line parallel to
Munger Avenue 100 feet to a point; thence
running southerly along an imaginary Line
which is parallel to Middlebelt Road to the
place of beginninsaid area being also known
as Lot 31 of the Liverance Estate E.S. Subdivision
of part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14,
Town 1 South, Range 9 East; to be changed from
an AG-1-B requirement to a C-2 requirement;
said area being located in Zoning Map No.l.
Attorney Ambrose reads the requirements of the AG-1-B district
and the C-2 district.
Of the people present, no one was in favor of the change -
eleven residents of the area were against it.

Petition No.2, on the property described as follows:
The area bounded on the South by Seven Mile
Road; on the East by :lhadyside Avenue; on the
North an imaginary line which is parallel to
Seven Mile Road, which is 100 feet distant, and
on the West by Westmore Road,to be changed from
a G-1 requirement to a C-2 requirement; paid area
being located in ironing Map No.l.

Ambrose reads the requirements of the 0-1 and C-2
petitioners were not present, and no one present seemed
erected in this change.

Petition No.3on the property described as follows:
The area bounded on the. North by School -
craft Road; on the East by Stark Road; on the
South by an imaginary line parallel to Behool-
craft Road„ -which is distant 1149 feet, and on
the West to a point, which is 2495 feet (Jest
of Stark goad; to be changed from an M-1
requirement to.an AG-1-B requirement; said
area being located in Zoning Map No.3.
Attorney Ambrose reads the requirements of the M-1 and
districts.
Of the people present, six were in favor and no one against the
change..

The area bounded on the South by Plymouth
head; on the East by Priscilla Lane;-' on the
North by an imaginary line which is parallel
to Plymouth Read,. and which is 200 feet distant,
and on the West to a point which is 405 feet
West of Priscilla Lane, to be changed from an
Ti-1-I3 requirement to a 0-1 requirement; na.id
area being located in Zoning Map No,3.
Attorney Ambrose read,
0-1 districts.
Mr. Ambrose also reads the letter from Wire Franklin Halls,
attorney, Mr. • E. H. Dill, concerning this change.
Seven residents of this district were present, and all agcinnt
the change. No one present for it.

Petition No.5, on the property described as follows:
The area bounded on the North by Plymouth Road;
on the East by MiddlebeIt Road; on the South by an
imaginary line running parallel to Plymouth Road,
which is 300 feet distant; and <r.. the Went by
Merriman Road, to be change;dfrom.AG-1-C and (%-1 and AG-1-I3
requirements to a 0-2 requirement; said area being
located in Zoning Map'No.4.

Attorney Ambrose reads the requirements of the AG-1-0
AG-1-B, 0-1 and 0-2 requirements.
Mr° Lester Shore was present for the change, no one present
against it.
Petition No.6, on the property described as follows;
The area bounded on the South by Jay Road;
on the East by Inkster Road; on the North by
an imaginary line parallel to Joy hoaa:and which
is 300 feet distant, and on the West to a point
which is 292.17 feet East of Hertel Avenue, to
be changed from AG-1-C. B-1-C and 0-1 requirements
to C-2 requirement; said area being; located in
Zoning Map No.4.

At this point Chairman Johnston calls a reoeafs, white the
Board discusses the foregoing changes.
The following recommendations will be made to the Townshi
Board:
Petition No.1- this Board recommends no change be made.
" No.2- this k'oard recommends the change requested.
Na.3- this Board recommends the change requested.
No.4- this Board recommends no change be made.
No.5- this hoard recommends the change requested.
No.6- this Board recommends the 'change requested.
There being no further business to come before the Board, on
motion by Mr. Bentley, seconded by Mr- Rewey, Chairman Johnston
adjourned the meeting at 9:15 P.M.
