ZONING BOARD
Feb. 26th. 1948
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning
Board, held in the Township Hall, Feb. 26th, 1948.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P.M. by Chairman Johnston.
Members present: Carson Johnston, Chairman, George N. Bentley,
Robert Rewey and Attorney John Ambrose.
The minutes of the meetings of Dec. llth and Dec. 29th, 1947
were adopted as read.
A petition was read for a change in Zoning from C=1 and
A-G-1-C to C-2 on the following described property located on
Zoning Map No.4:
No.l .. Property bounded on the North by
Plymouth Road; on the South to a
depth. of 300 feet parallel with
Plymouth Road; on the East by
Middlebelt Road; and on the West
by the West Quarter Section line
of Sec. 35 .* to tie in with the
present C-1 Zone on the South Side
of Plymouth which is approximately
one block east of Hubbell Road.
Two other petitions were also filed pertaining to the
above change.
A petition was read for a change in Zoning from C-1 to C-2
on the following described property located on Zining Map No.4s
No.2 - Property bounded on the South by
Joy Rd; on the East by Inkster
Road; on the North to a line
parallel to Joy Road which is
300 feet distant; on the West to
a point 292.17 feet East of Martel
in Sec. 36.
A petition was read for a Change in Zoning from M-1 to
A-G- 1-B on the following described property:
No.3 - Property bounded on the North by
Schoolcraft; on the East by Stark
Road; on the South to a line
parallel to Schoolcraft Rd., which
is distant 1149 feet; on the West
to a point which is 2495 feet West
of Stark Road in Sec. 28.
Apptition was read for a change in Zoning from C-1 to C-2
on the following described property located on Zoning Map No.l:
No.4 - Property bounded on the South by
Meeting of Feb. 26th0,1948 - Page Two
Seven Mile Road) on the East by
Shadyside; on the North to a line
which is parallel to Seven Mile Road
to a depth of 100 feet; on the West
by Westmore Road, in Sec. 3.
The petition of Mr° C. W. Lubs, 29625 Munder Ave., was
returned for re -publishing on account of error in description
of property,- requests change in Zoning from A-G-1 to C-2 on
the following described property:
No.5.. Commencing at Middlebelt Road along
Munger Avenue, to a point 750 feet
from Middlebelt Road; thence con-
tinuing West 100 feet to a point on
Munger Avenue; thence North along a
line Which is parallel to Middlebelt
Road 410.91 feet to a point; thence
Easterly along a line parallel to
Munger Avenue to a -point; thence
Southerly along a line which is
parallel to Middlebelt Road to the
place of beginning. Known as Lot 31,
Livrance Eastates, located on Map No.l.
On motion by Mr- Bentley, seconded by Mr. Rewey, the above
petitions will be advertised for Public Hearing on the date to be
published.
On motion by Mr. Rewey, seconded by Mr' Bentley, the meeting
was adjourned by Chairman Johnston at 9:30 P.M,
