Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Livonia Township
Zoning Commission, held in the Township Hall, October 30th, 1947..
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Carson Johnston
at 8;15 P.`. Members present: Chairman Johnston, Robert Rewey,
ge [Bentley and Attorney John Ambrose.
Mr. Royal Riggs Appeared before the Board to complain that
William Stiles is operating a Plumbing business in a residential
district at 20490 Melvin St. This is an A-G-1-C ,tone. This
matter will be referred to the Building Inspector for investigation.
Mr. Alfred A. Flores and other interested parties appoared
before the Board in reference to filing a petition to change the
district on the South side of Eight Mile Road between Middlebelt
and Merriman to a depth of 300 feet, from an A-G-1-C to an M Dinrio
Thos. O'Connor presented a petition to change all lots facing
Doris Avenue North of Five Mile Road, on the Trocke Estates, from
A-0-1-B to R-1-0.

A petition was presented signed by 0. W. Lubn and several others,
asking for a change of a certain lot on Munger Avenue, situated near
the Wilcox School, from an A-G-1-B classification to a 0 2 classification,
This petition was refused.
A petition from A. Napolitano, in reference to changing the
frontage on Plymouth Road above Alden Village, described as follows:
The area bounded on the South by Plymouth Road; on.the mast by the
West boundary of Alden Village, on the North by an imaginary lino
parallel to Plymouth Road, and on the West to a point which is
approximately 525 feet West of the West boundary of Alden Village,
from R-1-49 to C-1 district - was received and panned on for Public
Hearing.
A petition signed by several residents to change from R-U-P-0
to C-1 classification, the property an the West nide of 'Hubbard Road,
from Five Mile Road to the North Boundary of Granada Park Sub.No.1,
was received and passed on for Public !.fearing.
A petition for, a change from A-0-1-B to C-1 classification of
land .Korth of Joy Road, 486 feet . on Farm' stgton !toad, be-
ing 320 feet North of Joy Road, 574 feet on Parkway Drive and
feet at extreme depth - was passed on for Public '!tearing.
A petition received from Mrs. Clara Smith to extend the 0-1
district on Five Mile Road from Fairfield to Brookfield, was panned
on for Public Hearing.
