HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1946-10-24Oct. 24, 1946 Minutes of regular meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning Board, held tit the Livonia Township Hall, 33110 Five mile Road, Route #3 Plymouth, i'"ich., The meeting was called: to order at 8.15_PM with Chairman Carson Johnston presiding. Present were Mr. Jg}an.ston, G. L. Isbell and Mr . Wm. F enske . Minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted as they now read. An unsigned letter to Secretary G. L. Isbell complaining about a repair gararge at 29503 Greenland, in residential district, was handed to Mr. Mason. for investigation with the request that he make a report at the next meeting of this Board. Receipt is acknowledged of a copy of the subdivision restrictions, as written in deeds and recorded at the County Building, covering restrictions in t he Golden Ridge Subdivision. This copy being from Mr. Jennings. The copy was given to Building Inspector Reason for comparison when issuing building permits for this subdivision. A letter from Mr. Harold F. ]Ilanunill, Engineer, of Plymouth, Mich., togethen with a plat of "Bentley Gardens" subdivisoh was received and Mr. Hamill' s letter requested approval of the plat. This area is now zoned as RUYB. On motion by Mr. Fen ske, seconded by G. L. Isbell It was moved, and rnrried, that the plat, as submitted, be recommended by this Board to the Township Board for approval with the understanding that the lots shown on said plat, numbering twenty three (23) to thirty two (32) inclisive, facing on Schoolcraft Road, be used for residential purposes only and not for business. The Secretary was instructed to co}v ey this recommendation to the Township Board, which was done as per carbon copy of letter attached to these minutes. A letter from Mr. Edmund F. Wolff, dated Oct. 4th 1946 requesting a change in zoning from C-1 to rv-1, on a certain past el fronting on Eigh Mile Road, coiuwencing at the intersec tion of Purlingbrook Ave. and running westerly 300 feet and being approximately 115 feet deep, with a concrete Building known as vlolff(s Poultry," was tabled for consideration at the next regular meeting. On notion by Mr. Penske, seconded by G. L. flbell, the meeting was adjourned until Thirsday, Nov. 21, 1946 at g. P. M. to be held at the Livonia Township Hall. Motion carried. -12 G. L.
