MIA?JJTES of meeting of the Livonia Township Planning Board,
held at Livonia Township hall, Nov. 29th 1945. being regular
monthly meeting.

There first appeared nm. Charles J. Bush, representing Mr. B. E.
Taylor, regarding restrictions in Como -Lake Subdivision at Inkster
and Five Male Road. Mr. Bush requested higher requirements for
residence Sizes, or a change from a proposed b classification
on proposed new zoning map to an A classification. On motion by
Mir. Fenske, seconded by Mr. Wm. Bentley it was moved and carried
that this matter be taken under advisement.
Mr. Knight ofKnight-Ivlenard Co. appeared with his attorney,
ragarding land in section #33, requesting that property on the
south side of Plymouth Road extending six hundred and sixty (660')
feet from the center of Wayne Road on the east to a depth of
three hundred and thirty (330') feet be classified on proposed new
zoning map as C-1. On motion by Mr. Wm. Fenske, seconded by Mr.
G. L. Isbell it was moved to zone this property as C-1 provided the
owner, Mr. G. wesnierwski, present to the township a deed granting
a twenty foot easement for an alley and necessary turn -around on. the
south line of this tract paralelling P lynouth Road. Mr. Wesnierwski
agreed to do this.
Mr. Leo Voight-appeared regarding property two hundred and ninety one
(291') feet &zmyx fronting on. east side of Merriman Road and paral-
elling the p. M. Railroad for a distance of thirteen hundred and fifteen
(1315') feet. It developed. that Mr. Voight merely wanted information
as to restrictions in a IMM-1 district which was given to him by Chairmen
Johnston.
Building Inspector, Mason, explained that Mr. James L. Stanhope,
lots 7 and 8 on Deering St. wanted permission to alter construction
on a building for which he had obtained a building permit for a gararge
to a residence. Mr. Stanhope was not present. It was decided that
tjis is a metter for the board of appeals and no action was taken.
Ivlr. Lane, 15710 Merriman, appeared regarding parni.ssion to build
a temporary prefrabricating building of wood, for the purpose of
welding steel joists. Thismon property four hundred and eight (408')
feet south of the P. M. Railroad fronting on the west side of Merriman

9n motion by Mr. G. N. Bentley, seconded by Mr. Win. Fenske this
matter was referred to the Board of Appeals with a reeomrcendation that
if Mr. Line posts satisfactory bond, penult for a temporary building
with a definite understanding as to length of time it will be
allowed to stand, be issued. motion carried.
Themproposition of changing to C-1 property located on east side of
Formington Road, from Clarita Ave. to Pickford for a distance
extending six hundred (600') feet south of Clarita was discussed.
On a motion by Mr. G. N. Bentley, seconded by Mr.. Wm. Fenske this
request was denied.. motion carried.,
The matter of changing zoning on property eronting on the south
side of Seven Mile Road between Irving and Myron was discussed.
This property zoned on proposed new map as R. U. F. c - and a
request had been verbally made to a hoard member that it be changed
to C-1 - . It was moved by Mr. Wm. Fenske, seconded by Mr. G. L.
Isbell that this property remain in 11. U F - c - Motion carried.
The natter of th3 B. E. Taylor Como Lake subdivision was further
discussed and on motion by Mr. Bentley, seconded by Mr. Fenske, it
was moved that all of this subdivision together with property
bounded on the north by. Five Mile Road, South by Lyndon, west
by Cavell and east by Inkster Road be zoned as R-1-A. Motion carried
At 10.45 pm. motion to adjourn until 8 pm Dec. 6th 1945 was made
by Mr. Isbell, seconded by Mr. Bentley. Motion carried. It was
agreed to meet at Livonia Township Ball at time and date above.
