Minutes of meeting of Livonia Township Planning Commission
held at Livonia Township Hall, Wayne County, Mieh. June 21st 1945
Meeting was tiled to order by Mr. George Bentley at 8.15 PM
with Mr. G. L. Isbell, Mr. George N. Bentley and Mr. Wm. Penske
present, also Attorney John B. Ambrose and Engineer W. C. Johnson.
Chairman Johnston had notified Mr. Bentley that he would
be detained for a while and requested that Mr. Bentley act as Chairman
until his arrival.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Work of designating Zones and land uses on proposed new
map for proposed new ordinance was tenatively completed and after
considerable discussionit was moved by Geroge N. Bentley, seconded

by Mr. Wm. Fenske that, n compliance with Act 184 of the Public Acts
of 1943, Statenof Michigan that three public hearings on the proposed
new Ordinance be held and, if the buildings be obtainable the first
meeting be held in the Pearson School, on Seven Mile Road; the second
meeting be held at Livonia Township Hall and the third meeting be held
at St. Michaels Parish Hall - The meeting to be held atPearson School
to cover the area bounded on the north by Sight mile road, south by the
Six Mile road, east by Inkster road and west by the west boundary of.
Livonia Township (Haggerty Road) -- The second meeting, at Livonia
Township Hall to embrace the area bounded on the north by Six Mile road,
South by Schoolcraft, east by Inkster road and on the west by Haggerty
road - - The third, and last meeting, at St. Michaels Parish Hall to
cover the area bounded on the north by Schoolcraft, south by Joy road,
on the east by Inkster road and on the west by Eccles road. Motion
carried.
Further discossions were held and dates for the public
hearings were tenatively set for the last two weeks in August. Mr.
Bentley agreed to get in touch with proper parties to arrange for use
of the Public School Building and Mr. Fenske agreed to try to make
arrangements for the use of St. Michaels Parish Hall.
On motion by Fenske, seconded by Bentley the meeting was
adjourned until. next regular monthly meeting to be held at Livonia
Township Hall on Thursday June 28th 1945 at 8. pm.
