MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AT LIVONIA TOWNSHIP HALL MARCH 19, 1945
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8.10 PM WITH CHAIRMAN JOHNSTON
PRESIDING AND ALL MEMBERS PRESENT, ALSO ATTORNEY JOHN B. AMBROSE.
MR. WILLIAM E. WALP AND MR. E. PAUL, RESIDENTS OF "SCHOOLCRAFT
ESTATES" SUBDIVISION WERE PRESENT WITH BUILDING INSPECTOR, MR.
RAY OWENS REQUESTING INFORMATION ON ERECTION OF POULTRY. PENS
IN SAID SUBDIVISION . IN VIEW OD PENDING CHANGE IN ZONING
ORDINANCE AND DUE TO THE PLANS CONFORMING TO NEW BUILDING
CODE THESE PARTIES WERE INFORMED NO RESTRAINING ACTION WOULD
BE TAKEN BY THIS BDARD ON PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION.
MR. WILLIAM EVERHART APPEARED BEFORE THE BOARD REGARDING ADDITION
OF LIVING QUARTERS ABOVE STORE AT 28025 FENKELL, NOW USED AS
POULTRY MARKET.AND BEING IN C-I DISTRICT. SAID STORE HAVING
8" CEMENT
THATKSIDE PRESENTALLS. STRUCTUREON ISASTRONGCE BY ENOIJGHUTODING C CARRY TOR
THIS
PROPOSED ADDITION IT WAS SUGGESTED TO MR. EVERHART THAT HE
BEFORE THE APPEAL BOARD WITH NECESSARY PLANS AND THAT THIS
BOARD WOULD RECOMMEND THAT PERMIT BE ISSUED.
THE BUSINESS OF PROOF READING AND CORRECTING PROPOSED NEW OEDINANCES
WAS CONTINUED UNTIL 10.15 PM AND, ON MOTION BY ISBELL, SECONDED
BY FENSKE, MEETING WAS ADJOURNED UNTIL 8 PM. FRIDAY MARCH 30, 1945
