ZONING COMMISSION
May 6, 1943
Meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning Commission was held at
the Township Hall, May 6, 1943.
Members present were as follows:
Carson Johnston, Chairman
George Bentley
William Fenske
T. Glenn Phillips
Luther Whiteley
Harry S. Wolfe
The meeting was called to order by Carson Johnston at 8:45
o'clock P. M.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jennings, of 9355 Butwell Street, Livonia
Township, appeared before the Board regarding a poultry house, ex-
plaining that it is impossible to use the building as a poultry house
under the Zoning Ordinance, and it was their desire to change said
building into a multiple building.
The Board suggested that Mr. and Mrs. Jennings get in touch
with Mr. Phillips in the future and prepare a petition to submit to
the people in that area for their signatures to change the area from
an R-1 district to an R-3 district, and submit the wine to the people
of that district and hold hearings, if enough people seemed in favor
of same.
The Board instructed the Secretary to write or call the Newnan
Development Company and see why they hadn't contacted Mr. Phillips
regarding a proposed subdivision and get his reaction.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
HARRY S. WULFE
Asst. Secretary
