The meeting was called to order by Carson Johnston at 9:15 o'clock
Mr. <1171r Al:: 0 N--. , of- 4L F, sf ;e _l=
came before the Board to explain the possibilities of making improve-
ments in the Township as a post-war project. Mr. -
suggested that the Board call the different school boards of the Town-
ship to a meeting and see what their attitude was toward establishing
a high school in the Township and consolidate the Township into one
district.
The question came up regarding installation of sewers, water, im-
provements of roads, etc. Mr.L 6S:cr--Q,, was asked if the areas could
get any assistance from the Federal Government for the improvements. He
said that the Government would not commit itself to any assistance, but
that Pontiac and other cities and districts were submitting projects
with the idea in mind that they would receive assistance due to the fact
that it would be impossible to pay the whole cost while limited to the
15 will tax limitation.
There beingno further business, the meeting was adjourned.
