March 6-1942
Meeting of the Livonia Township Planning Board in conjunction
with the Township Board was held at the Clarenceville School, on
East side of Middlebelt south of Eight Mile Road, as advertised in
the Livonian.
Meeting was called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Carson Johnston.
Mr. Johnston explained to the group that it was the intention
of the Board to zone the Township so as to protect everyone living
in and owning property in the Township.
At this time Mn. Johnston introduced Kenneth Parker, associate
of T. Glenn Philli ps, Planning Consultant, who proceeded to explain
to the group just what the tentative Zoning Ordinance was, as set up
by the Planning Board.
Mr. McQueen representing Ira Wilson, omer of large tracts
of land in Livon is Town ship, asked the di stance cont emplated. for
business corners to be extended from cor ers.
Mr. Parker explained to IeLr. McQueen that the length of said
business would extend around 300 feet.
There being no further questions, the meeting was closed.
