PLANNING BOARD
February 20,.1942.
Meeting of the Livonia Township Planning Board was held at
the Township Hall and was called to order by Carson Johnston at
8:15 P.M. regarding the Zoning studies.
Members present were as follows:

Kenneth Parker
Carson Johnston
George Bentley
Jesse Ziegler
Harry S. Wolfe
After a long discussion, the

Subdivision and land lying between said subdivision and Stark Road,
that part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 29 lying north of Pere
Marquette Railroad, and the west 80 rods of that part of the Northwest
1/4 of Section 29 lying south of the Pere Marquette Railroad, and that
area occupied by oil refinery and property east of same in Section 28,
be used for light industry; and the North 1/2 of Section 30 and that
part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 29 lying north of Pere Marquette
Railroad be used for heavy industries.
Moved by George Bentley, supported by Carson Johnston, that
the Zoning Ordinance and plans as shown on maps be tentatively
approved and submitted for hearings. Carried.
