Approval of July 14, 2022 Minutes
FROM PREVIOUS MEETING:
Carol Griest had contacted the Mayor’s Office (copy of email attached) expressing concern with vehicle
traffic speeds on Blue Skies between Schoolcraft and Five Mile Roads (Section 19)
NEW BUSINESS:
Letter received from The Summit Company (attached) re-evaluating our position to replace a “Yield” signs
with “Stop” signs at Wayne and Industrial Roads (Sections 28 and 29)
Letter received from Sue Shomsky (attached) who resides at 28029 Clements Circle (Section 36) and is
requesting an additional “No Parking” sign
EMAIL REQUESTS FROM CITY OFFICES (copies attached):
Email received from the Mayor’s Office from Michael Sorek (see attached) who resides at 14047 Fairway
(Section 20) expressing concern over large 18 wheeler trucks using Fairway Street. He is requesting
replacement of information signs that would prohibit this type of traffic
The Mayor’s Office forwarded an email from Mr. and Mrs. Blevins who reside at 16361 Hubbard Street who
are concerned about multiple cars visiting the home located at 16242 Hubbard Street parking on the new
walkway/bike path that was added on Hubbard Street near Buchanan School
