1. BLOCK PARTY: Allison Adams, re: to be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 4:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Flamingo Blvd. between Clarita and Pickford, with a rain date
of Saturday, August 4, 2018.
2. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE AND BARRICADE
STREET: Jackie Gordon, re: to host a graduation party on Saturday, June 23,
2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Arden Street and to barricade street from
11029 Arden to 11011 Arden, with no rain date requested.
3. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Rev. Fr. Tony Massad,
Pastor, Saint Rafka Maronite Catholic Church, re: in order to hold a cultural festival
with music played by a DJ and live bands at Saint Rafka Maronite Catholic Church
located at 32765 Lyndon Street on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to
12:00 a.m. and Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
4. REAPPOINTMENT OF GREGORY G. COPPOLA TO THE ZONING BOARD OF
APPEALS: Brian Meakin, Councilmember, re: for a three-year term which will
expire on July 12, 2021.

5. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) DOMINION VOTING ICC KIT
OPTICAL SCAN TABULATORS THROUGH STATE OF MICHIGAN BID
PROCESS: Office of the City Clerk, re: to streamline the processing of ballots,
from budgeted funds.
6. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE ONE (1) 2019 FORD 550
REGULAR CHAMPION DEFENDER 217” WB BUS UNDER STATE OF
MICHIGAN CONTRACT: Department of Community Resources, re: as a
replacement vehicle for the Senior Center from budgeted funds.
7. REQUEST TO APPROVE DISSOLUTION OF THE LIVONIA CABLE
TELEVISION COMMISSION: Department of Community Resources, re: the
Commission no longer has the authority to negotiate with and oversee the cable
providers as Public Act 480 designated that authority to the State of Michigan via
the Michigan Public Service Commission.
8. REQUEST TO APPROVE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CHARTER COUNTY OF WAYNE AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA:
Department of Parks and Recreation, re: utilizing grant funds of $217,092.00 to
be used for improvements at Rotary Park and Clements Circle Park.
9. REQUEST TO EXTEND CONTRACT WITH ADS ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES:
Public Service Division, re: for a five-year extension for the Sanitary Sewer Flow
Monitoring and Rain Gauge Program, at an annual cost of $48,864.00.
10. REQUEST TO APPROVE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CHARTER COUNTY OF WAYNE AND THE CITY OF
LIVONIA: Engineering Division, re: for the road improvements of Farmington Road
between Plymouth Road and Schoolcraft Road with the proposed City’s
participation to be estimated at 20% in the amount of $175,000.00.
11. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-03-02-06 submitted
by Khuja Consulting L.L.C. requesting approval to increase the seating capacity of
a previously approved limited service restaurant (formerly Rocky’s Rotisserie) into
a full service restaurant (Alloush Cafe) within the Newburgh Plaza Shopping
Center, located at the southeast corner of Six Mile and Newburgh Roads (37337
Six Mile Road) in the Northwest ¼ of Section 17.
12. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-04-02-07 submitted
by Bianca Bousamra requesting approval to operate a dance studio (The
Foundation House) on the east side of Farmington Road between Plymouth Road
and the CSX railroad right-of-way (11936 Farmington Road) in the Southwest ¼
of Section 27.

13. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-04-02-08 submitted
by Crossfit North Industry requesting approval to operate an indoor fitness center
on the east side of Farmington Road between Plymouth Road and the CSX
railroad right-of-way (11944 and 11948 Farmington Road) in the Southwest ¼ of
Section 27.

15. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED:
Department of Law, re: Petition 2018-01-01-01 submitted by Kucyk, Soave &
Fernandes, P.L.L.C. to rezone properties located at the east side of Newburgh
Road between Five Mile and Six Mile Roads (36900 and 36910 Mallory Drive
(former Clay Elementary School site) from PL (Public Lands) and the property at
16600 Newburgh Road and a portion of the property at 16700 Newburgh Road
from R-3 (One Family Residential – 80’ x 120’ lots) to R-2 (One Family Residential
– 60’ x 120’ lots), in the Northwest ¼ of Section 17.
16. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water
Services Rates and Revenues) to provide for changes in the water service
consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2018.
17. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water
Service Rates and Revenues) to provide changes in the water service
consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2018.
18. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia
Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the sewer disposal and
maintenance rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2018.
19. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Section 130 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia
Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the special rates for
designated uses to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2018.

20. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 28
(Industrial Waste Surcharge) to provide for changes in the industrial waste
surcharge rate to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2018.

21. REQUEST TO BARRICADE PARKING LOT: Brigette Poirier, re: to hold a Grand
Opening Event for Today’s Orthodontics, with a tent, food truck, bounce house and
outdoor activities, to be held June 20, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at 18444
Farmington Road, with no rain date requested.
22. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS: Division of Police, re: of $1,000.00 from Allstate
Insurance to be used for the purposes as designated by the donor.
