The April 19, 2017 meeting minutes were approved as written. Mary Cambridge presented the April 2017 Treasurer's report, which were placed on File. The report included the Foundation Grant of $7k and a $2k donation from a clients’ grandparents, client getting married here. Greenmead is sending ornaments as a Thank You for the special donation. Also, noted that the Blue House supervisors payments comes from a special City Account not out of our account. nd Barbara Mansfield, Chairman reported: Volunteer Orientation was held on April 22. 6 new volunteers present along with Mike Marihugh and Patty Trojan. Jewelry Sale was a huge success. Made $4,638.86 this year, $18,21770 in the past 5 years. Had 18 volunteers set up the sale and work event. Name Tags were quoted and a discussion was had. A decision to have Docent tags made instead of volunteer ones was made. Asked to have two separate bills one for 20 Building Manager tags and one for 20 Docent tags to be done. Nancy Frye will handle getting ordered. Hinbern issues: the right-hand railing going up the stairs is weak. Handicap entrance still isn't fixed, Bathroom toilet still missing, rotted wood on building side by handicap door west side of the door. There is a box of brochures behind the curtain on the floor. Spring Cleaning: congratulations Nancy on running the program for us. Windows will be done on Monday, May 22nd. Barbara will be here in afternoon to check in. Cleaning of village went quite well. Church and Kingsley done on May 16th, Shaw & Geer done on May 13th. Bungalow needs to be done. Kingsley has a mouse issue in bedroom off kitchen. Motion 05/01 was made by Nancy Frye to get Bungalow cleaned and approved up to $700 and seconded by Sandi Pritchard. Approved unanimously. Carpet was then discussed and had sample to show. Motion 05/02 was made by Mary Cambridge to allocate up to $1,499 to replace carpet in Church seconded by Mike Marihugh. Approve unanimously. We went over to church after meeting to look at sample in the church to help with color choice. Decided on the original choice of green. There was a discussion to have carpet in the Kingsley, Shaw and Bungalow cleaned. Also, Hinbern carpet to be cleaned. City can do the Hinbern. Linda Wiacek reported: Schoolhouse is still in parking lot, the foundation with utility access is to be going in hopefully this coming month. Rentals 15 in May 13 in June. Maintenance orders are done by Emily. New signs have been put in throughout property. City Services probably won't be putting in new parking lots, they have filled some holes in the lots. Porch railings are being worked on. Clark Hill Law Firm is coming for a tour of Hill House on June 10th @ 1 p.m. Barbara and Kathy along with Maureen will give the tour. Hoping for donations. MMOCC Conference is being held November 9-11 in Sauder Village OH. Cost would be $95.00 to attend and Hotel $91. We need to renew membership $50.00 please go to www.mmocc.org to see what conference is all about. Appears to we have $230K in Trust Fund. Budget for next year was reviewed. A request was made to up the budget from $5,950 to $9,600. Motion 05/03 was made to up our Community Resources account to $5,950 by Nancy Frye and seconded by Mike Marihugh. Approved unanimously. Archive work has been being done by Kathy Glynn & Danielle Lewon. Pass perfect has been installed in two locations. Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded to use laptop. Motion 05/04 was made to pay up to $3,000 a year to Danielle Lewon to help with Archiving by Mary Cambridge and seconded by Deanna Brown. Approved unanimously. Season opener was held and went very well. Flea Market moving along good. A suggestion to have a list to where vendors are places. Meeting house will a have water for sale. They are selling Popcorn this year. Set up for Flea Market will be May 30th @ 9am. Tours start on June 11th Nancy Frye and Mike Marihugh are commissioners on duty. Irish Fest is the weekend of th June 16-18, Garden Walk June 24th. No Tours on June 25 due to Spree. Linda announced her retirement day will be July 11th.
