1. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Robert Rais, Knights
of Columbus, re: to allow a car show with a DJ at Saint Collette’s Catholic Church,
17600 Newburgh Road, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
2. REAPPOINTMENT OF VAHAN NAZARIAN TO THE LIVONIA BOARD OF
REVIEW: Office of the Mayor, re: for a three-year term, which will expire on
February 16, 2020.
3. REQUEST TO APPROVE LOCATION AND SCHEDULE OF DATES AND TIMES
FOR THE 2017 BOARD OF REVIEW MEETINGS, AS WELL AS
COMPENSATION RATES FOR MEMBERS: Department of Assessment, re: per
the requirements of State of Michigan Statute MCL 211.30.
4. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE FROM SOLE SOURCE PROVIDER:
Department of Community Resources, re: for two new Avid Systems to upgrade
current equipment that is used daily to edit programs.

5. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: for the lease of 23
pieces of equipment to be used to maintain the Fox Creek, Whispering Willows
and Idyl Wyld golf courses.

6. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: of Title 8, Chapter 30 (Smoking in Public
Places) in order to add the term “cigar bar” to the list of definitions and to eliminate
conflicts with state law.
7. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543,
AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2016-11-01-08 submitted by
Soave Homes, requesting to rezone the property located on the east side of Levan
Road between Ann Arbor Trail and Plymouth Road (10014 Levan Road) in the
Northeast ¼ of Section 32, from RUF (Rural Urban Farm) to R-1 (One Family
Residential – 60’ x 120’ Lot).

8. PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET LIGHTING PROJECT:
Department of Assessment, re: the Assessment Roll for Arbor Trail Estates Site
Condominiums located north of Ann Arbor Trail between Wayne Road and
Newburgh Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32. (CR 455-16)

9. REZONING PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2016-11-01-07
submitted by City of Livonia, requesting to rezone the property located on the
south side of Five Mile Road between Farmington Road and Shadyside Street
(33233-33243 Five Mile Road) in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 22, from PL (Public
Land) to C-1 (Local Business.
