HELD BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
tvI On Tuesday, August 28, 1973 the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia held
its 289th Special Meeting in the Engineering Building, 13325 Farmington Road, Livonia,
Michigan.
Mr. Daniel R. Andrew, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 9:50 p.m.
Members present: Daniel R. Andrew David Merrion Suzanne Taylor
Joseph J. Falk Francis Hand Joseph Talbot
Members absent: Charles Pinto Esther Friedrichs Herman H. Kluver

Messrs. John J. Nagy, Planning Director, and H. G. Shane, Planner IV, were also present.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Hand, seconded by Mrs. Taylor and unanimously adopted,
it was - .
#8-221-73 RESOLVED that, the City of Livonia Planning Commission hereby authorizes
the Planning Department to transmit the document titled "Capital Improve-
ment Program, City of Livonia, 1974-197.9" to the Mayor and Council as a
realistic program to aid in the determination of a complete fiscal plan-
ning strategy for the City of Livonia, and
FURTHER RESOLVED that, the City Planning Commission stands ready to do
all things necessary to cooperate with the Mayor and Council in making
law: a functioning Program of Capital Improvements and Capital Budgeting a
reality for the City of Livonia.
1/4440 Mr. Andrew, Chairman, delcared the motion is carried and the foregoing resolution
adopted.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Hand and seconded by Mr. Talbot, it was
#8-222-73 RESOLVED that, the minutes of the 288th Special Meeting held by the
City Planning Commission on July 31, 1973 are hereby approved.
A roll call vote on the foregoing resolution resulted in the following:
AYES: Merrion, Falk, Hand, Talbot, Andrew
NAYS: None
,.ABSTAIN: Taylor
ABSENT: Pinto, Friedrichs, Kluver
Mr. Andrew, Chairman, declared the motion is carried and the foregoing resolution adopted.
On a motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, the City Planning Commission
adjourned its 289th Special Meeting held on Tuesday, August 28, 1973,
at 9:55 p.m.
