HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1967-04-25 MINUTES OF THE 236th SPCIAL MEETING OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF • THE CITY OF LIVONIA 1010 On Tuesday, April 25, 1967, the City ok Livocnia planning Commission held its 236th Special Meeting at 13325 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan. Mr. Walker, Chairman, called the meeting to order at approximately 8:40 p.m. Members present: Charles W. Walker, Raymond W. Tent Harry Wrightman John J. Ward Donald Pollock Members absent: Myra Chandler Marvin Moser Mimi Singer Donald Heusted Other City officials present: Frank Kerby, Chief Building Inspector Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Wrightman and seconded by Mr. Tent, it was #4-63-67 RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 23.01 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, Ordinance No. 543, as amended, the City Planning Commission does hereby establish and order that a public hearing be held to determine whether or not to rezone property located on the north side of Five Mile Road between Levan and Newburgh Roads in the South 1/2 of Section 17 (2 parcels), and on the south side of Five Mile Road between Levan and Blue Skies in the North 1/2 of Section 19 (1 parcel) and the North 1/2 of Section 20 (2 parcels) , from C-2 to C-1; FURTHER RESOLVED, that a hearing be held and notice be given as provided in Section 23.01 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of j Livonia, No. 543 as amended, and that there shall be a report submitted and a recommendation thereon to the City Council. A roll call vote on the foregoing resolution resulted in the following: AYES: Ward, Pollock, Tent, Walker, Wrightman NAYS: None ABSENT: Chandler, Singer, Moser, Heusted Mr. Walker, Chairman, declared the motion is carried and the foregoing resolution is adopted.
