HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1967-03-07 MINUTES CF THE 233rd SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA On Tuesday, March 7, 1967 on a motion by Mr. Wrightman, seconded by Mr. Pollock and unanimously adopted the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia, held its 233rd Special Meeting at the Livonia City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Mr. Raymond Tent, Vice-Chairman, called the meeting to order at approximately 8:50 p.m. Members present: Marvin Moser John H. Ward Donald Heusted Donald Pollock Raymond Tent Harry Wrightman Members absent: Mimi Singer Myra Chandler Charles Walker Other City officials present: Don Hull. Upon a motion duly made by: Mr. Wrightman and seconded by Mr. Heusted, it was; #3-28-67 RESOLVED that* pursuant to the City Planning Commision's responsibilities as set forth in Municipal Planning Commission Act No. 285, P,A. of Michigan, 1931, as amended, the City of Livonia Planning Commission hereby sanctions and recommends the City Council the development of two (2) enclosed ice rinks located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21 and the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35. FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Commission hereby approves these two (2) developments as to their location, character and function. A roll call vote on the foregoing resolution resulted in the following: • AYES : Moser, Ward, Heusted, Pollock, Tent, Wrightman NAYS: None ABSENT: Chandler, Singer, Walker On a motion by Mr. Moser, seconded by Mr. Heusted, and unanimously adopted, the City Planning Commission adjourned its 233rd Special Meeting held on March 7, 1967 at approximately 9:12 p.m, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Harry Wri/ tman, r retary ATTESTED: Raymond Tent, Vice-Chairman
