MINUTES OF THE 213th SPECIAL MEEPING OF
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY

On Tuesday, November 9, 1965, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Livonia, held the 213th Special Meeting at the Livonia City Planning Commission
office, 13325 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan. Mr. Heusted, Vice-chairman,
called the meeting to order at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Members present: Wrightman, Whitehead, :Polio 3k,Ward, Cameron, Tent, Heusted
Members absent: Walker, Chandler
Others Present: Mr. Nagy, Assistant Planning Director
Mr. Whitehead announced the first item on the agenda is a request from Rev.
Luther Ratmeyer for reaffirmation of Planning Commission action'regarding
:etition M-276 taken on February 19, 1963.
Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Pollock and seconded by Mr. Wrightman, it was
#11-201-65 RESOLVED THAT, the City of Livonia Planning Commission does hereby
ratify their previous action on Petition M-276. This action, on
February 19, 1963, granted a use permit for the erection of a church
' on the north side of Five Mile Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section
18 to John E. Hiemstra for the Classis of Lake Erie Reformed Church
in America. The Commission reaffirms their action so as to accommodate
the construction of this church which we believe will be an asset
to the adjacent neighborhood and the City of Livonia.
A roll call vote on the foregoing resolution resulted in the following:
AYES: Wrightman, Whitehead, Pollock, Ward, Cameron, Tent, Heusted
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Walker, Chandler
Mr. Heusted, Vice-Chairman, declared the motion is carried and the forgoing
resolution is adopted.
Upon a motion duly rade by Mr. Tent, seconded by Mr. Whitehead, it was unanimously
adopted, the City Planning Commission does hereby adjourn the 213th Special
Meeting held on Tuesday, ':o:-eir2'^r 9, 1965, at approximately 8:15 p.m.
