HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1956-10-01 413 1467 MINUTES OF THE 66TH SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION On October 1, 1956, the above meeting was held by the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Chairman William R. Robinson called the Special Meeting to order at approximately 8:05 p.m. Members present: Karle Steinhoff Charles Walker Robert L. Miller Fred A. Lotz Leonard Kane William R. Robinson Daniel Lepo H. Paul Harsha Members absent: Robert L. Greene The Chairman announced that the only item to be considered was Application TA-18 by Harry Dachille, Dachille Trucking Company requesting permission to remove sand from portion of Parcels 24CC and 24DD located on the North side of Schoolcraft Road approximately 2,300 feet East of Micclebelt Road in the South 1/2 of Section 24. Mr. John B. Ambrose, Attorney, 25248 Five Mile Road, Detroit, was present representing the petitioner. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Lotz, seconded by Mr. Kane and unanimously carried, it was ##10-343-56 RESOLVED that, pursuant to a Public Hearing having been held September 11, 1956, the City Planning Commission does hereby grant Application TA-18 by Harry Dachille, Dachille Trucking Company for re- moval of sand from portion of Parcels 24CC and 24DD located on the North side of Schoolcraft Road approxi- mately 2,300 feet East of Middlebelt Road in the South 1/2 of Section 24, subject to Section 4.13 Zoning Ordinance, No. 60, because, according to the topo- graphic survey there is sufficient sand to be re- moved, and FURTHER RESOLVED, that a performance bond be fixed on the above application at $2,000 and it is re- commended that the Bureau of Inspection issue a permit to this effect, and FURTHER RESOLVED, notice of the above hearing was sent to property owners within 500 feet, petitioner, City Departments as listed in the Proof of Service and recommendation having been obtained from the Department of public Works and the Police Department under dates of September 10, 1956, and September 11, 1956. The Chairman declared the foregoing resolution adopted. 414 On a motion duly made by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Miller and unanimously adopted this 66th Special Meeting was duly adjourned at approximately 8:40 p.m. , October 1, 1956.
