MINUTES OF A STUDY MEETING HELD BY THE
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
On March 22, 1955 the above meeting was held by the City Planning Commission
at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Chairman Peter A.
Ventura called the study meeting to order.
Members present: William Robinson Daniel Lepo H. Paul Harsha
Edwin Conway Robert L. Greene Rufino Salinas
Peter A. Ventura
Members absent: Dallas F. Hay
'Carle Steinhoff
Mr. Albe Munson, Planning Consultant was also present.
Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Greene and
unanimously carried, it was
#3-89-55 RESOLVED that, City Planning Commission authorize Mr. Albe
Munson, Planning Consultant to proceed with formulation of
a brochure of a planning program for presentation to City
Council for their approval.
The Chairman declared the foregoing resolution adopted.
Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Harsha, seconded by Mr. Lepo and unanimously
carried, it was
#3-90-55 RESOLVED that, City Planning Commission request Mr. Albe
Munson, Planning Consultant to make study on Drive-In
Theatres and regulations governing such establishments.
The Chairman declared the foregoing resolution adopted.
Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Lepo and unanimously
carried, it was
#3-91-55 RESOLVED that, City Planning Commission has no objection to
Mr. Albe Munson, Planning Consultant doing work for other
City Departments and FURTHER that he is to bill them direct.
The Chairman declared the foregoing resolution adopted.
Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Lepo, seconded by Mr. Greene and unanimously
carried, it was
#3-92-55 RESOLVED that, Mr. Albe Munson, Planning Consultant be authorized
to give constructive criticism to developers at their request on
their proposed subdivision plats, provided Mr. Albe Munson receives
no pay from developers and FURTHER Mr. Albe Munson will be paid
for this service by the City Planning Commission and developers to
be billed by City Planning Commission.
