MINUTES OF TEE TWENTY- NINTH SPECIAL
MEETING OF THIS CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The twenty-ninth special meeting of the City P1 nfne Commission was
held on Friday, September 12, 1952 on Five Mile Road,. Livonia, Mich.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Dallas Hay, at approxi-
mately 5:30 PM, for the purpose of reviewing a plat, "Livonia Estates
Subdivision" in the NW 1/4 Section 36, facing on Harrison, presented
for approval by George Roth.
Members present: Clarence Jahn Edwin Conway Dallas Hay
Robert MacIntyre Helen firers
Members absent: Walter Russell, George Bentley and H. Paul Marsha
Upon a motion duly made by Clarence Jan and seconded by Edwin Conway,
it was
RESOLVED, that the tentative plat of Livonia Estates Sub-
division in the NW 1/4, Section 36, presented by George
Both of the Durable Home Builders, be and hereby is tenta-
tively approved; providing the following changes are made;
1. First street east of Harrison shall be LATHERS
2. Second street east of Harrison shall be GILLMAN
3. First street north of Joy shall be DOVER
4. Second street north of Joy shall be CATHEDRAL
thereby the proposed streets will be in alignment with
already existing and named streets.
5. There being no alleys, easements of not less than
six (6) feet in width shall be provided on each
side of rear lot lines and of side lot lines for
utilities and shall be noted on the record plat.
A roll call vote on the foregoing resolution resulted in the following:
AYES: Jahn, Conway, Hay, Maclntyre and Byers
NAYS: None
Upon a motion duly made by Edwin Conway and seconded by Robert McIntyre,
and carried unanimously, it was
RESOLVED, that this meeting be adjourned.
Thereupon, at approximately 6:15 PM, the Chair declared the meeting ad-
journed, and as a reminder, announced that the next regular meeting will
be held on Thursday, September 18, 1952 at 7 PM, on Seven Mile Road.
