HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1950-09-13 51 MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PLANNING COI ',ISSIO v OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA The special meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Livonia was held on the 13 day of September 1950, at the City Hall, 33110 Five Mile Road. The meeting was called to order at approximately 8:00 P.M. by the Chairman, dr. George Bentley. Roll was called with the following result : Members present : George Bentley Helen Byers Robert Mac Intyre Harold Bower Walter Russell Edwin Conray Carson Johnston Clarence Jahn Members absent : Dallas Hay Also present was Ur. V:aring, Consultant of the Planning Commission. The Secretary read the minutes of the regular meeting held on the 30th of August 1950. Upon a motion duly made by Carson Johnston, seconded by Harold Bower, and unanimously carried, it was RESOLVE:), that the minutes of the meeting held on the 30th of August 1950, be accepted as read. The assembly held an informal discussion regarding the Master Plan and Er. Waring showed his latest drawings. Mr. Carson Johnston informed the assembly that the Master Planning Committee would hold a meeting Wednesday evening at 8:00 P.M. on the 20th of September, 1950. The committee : lrr. C. Johnston, Mr. Harold Bower, and Mr. Clarence Jahn. Upon a motion duly made by Walter Russell, seconded by Robert MacIntyre, and unanimously carried, it was RESOLVED, to adjourn this meeting until the 27th day of September, 1950.
