our construction schedule to complete the walls at the intersection plazas. A brick
shipment is scheduled to be delivered the first week in July. Our ground
maintenance crews are having difficulty keeping up with our schedules and we
have issues and continue to meet with them to work things out. They are slow at
getting sufficient people on the job. Sprinkler system is working in most areas.
Various construction contractors hit our sprinkler lines. All mains are working
and only a few more sprinkler heads to replace.
Marvin Walkon wants a full and complete update at next meeting regarding the irrigation
system.
Mayor Kirksey asks"Can we check sprinklers periodically?"
Adelard Raby asks about lockout valves on the control boxes.
Other questions raised were Who has access to keys, and Who do you call for problems?
It is stated that it is a good idea to test sprinklers.
Dr. Auth asks"Are Rosedale flowers to be included in irrigation"?
John Nagy reports that all dead flowers will be or have been replaced and sprinklers are
Cov activated at Rosedale.
Dr Auth inquires if the island in Hubbard Road near Bill Brown Ford is included in Phase
V. Mr Nagy reported that it is included in Phase V.
Mayor Kirksey says Plymouth Road is looking very good. He has received many positive
comments on the Lilies, and inquiries as to what kind they are. John Nagy responds they
are Dwarf Stella Doro Daylillies.
Dr. Auth asked if dead trees East of Middlebelt to Inkster will be replaced. John Nagy
responds that East of Middlebelt are out of warranty. Scott Reinholt says that the trees
have some scale and borer problems but should survive. Scott Reinholt responds that he
has talked to the contractor and the contractor agreed to give these trees added attention.
There is hope that they may be fertilized and get better over summer, but if they don't
come back in 3 or 4 months, they will be replaced. Trees will be fertilized more
