MINUTES OF THE EIGHTY-NINTH REGULAR MEETING

OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
The above meeting was held on Tuesday, February 24, 1953, at 33211 W. Seven
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, for the reason that February 23rd was legally recognized
as a holiday (Washington's Birthday) and for the further reason that the Charter
provides that whenever a regular meeting falls on a legal holiday, it shall take
place at the same designated hour on the following day. Accordingly, this meeting
was called to order at approximately 8.02 P.M. by Councilman William Taylor Roll
was called with the following result: Present-- Raymond E Grimm and William Taylor.
Absent-- Harry S Wolfe, Wilson W Edgar, Harold Bower, Nettie Carey and John
Whitehead.
On motion of Councilman Taylor, supported by Councilman Grimm and
ILunanimously adopted, it appearing that no quorum was present, this meeting was
duly adjourned until Friday, February 27, 1953, at 8:00 P M at the City Court
Building.
Time of adjournment being 8 05 P. M., February 24, 1953
