PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF LIVONIA PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 1956-57
The President of the Council stated that the hour of 8:00 oiclock P. M.,
having arrived, a public hearing would be held on the proposed budget of the City
of Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1956, and ending November 30, 1957,
pursuant to Sections and 5, Chapter VIII of the Charter of the City of Livonia.
Members of the Council present were: Austin T. Grant, John T.Daugherty, David L.
Jones and itudolf h. Kleinert. Absent: Peter A. Ventura, Sydney B. 3agnall and
Frank O'Neill.
The City Clerk, Marie `v1. Clark, presented to the Council satisfactory
evidence that proper notice of such public hearing had been duly published at least
one week in advance of such hearing by the City Clerk in The Livonian, the official
newspaper, and that there had been full compliance with the above provisions of
the Charter.
There being no questions or comments, the President declared the public
hearing for the purpose of considering the proposed budget for 1956-57 closed, at
8:15 o'clock P. M., October 3J, 1956.
