MINUT r 5 OF PUBLIC HEARD'J ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE
PAVING OF LEVAN ROAD FROM PLYMOUTH ROAD TO SCHOOLCRAFT
ROAD IN THE CITY OF LI VONIA
On January 18, 1961, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, arra was called to order by the President
of the Council at approximately 9:00 o'clock P. M. Present-- Sydney B. Bagnall,
John T. Daugherty, Austin T. Grant, Rudolf R. Kleinert, William N. Ponder, Jack
Salvadore and James R. McCann. Absent-- None.
The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31,
as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said
Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for
the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll on the paving of Levan Road from
Plymouth Road to Schoolcraft Road in Section 29 of the City of Livonia.
One letter of objection, dated January 18,1961, from Gale D. Wilcox,
12855 Levan Road, was filed with the City Clerk.
There being no comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at
approximately 9:04 P. M., January 18, 1961.
