HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1961-01-18 NECESSITY ALEXANDER AVE Page 4659 MINUTJS OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING SIDEWALKS ON ALEXANDER AVENUE BETWEEN FIVE MILE ROAD AND JAMISON AVENUE IN SECTION 24 OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA On January 18, 1961, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at apiroximately 8:10 P. M. Present-- Sydney B. Bagnall, John T. Daugherty, Austin T. Grant, Rudolf R. Kleinert, William N. Ponder, Jack Salvador and James R. McCann, Absent-- None. The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as mended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public ImprovemenAs, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing sidewalks on Alexander Avenue between Five Mile Road and Jamison Avunue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 24 of the City of Livonia. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council,a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8140 P. M., January 18, 1961. M1. Clark, City Clerk
