MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEAHING ON NECESSITY FOR PAVIIG
WEbT CHICAGO ROAD FROM MERRDIAN TO HUBBARD ROADS IN SECTION 314.
On May 16, 1962, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan" and was called to order by the Vice President of the
Council at approximately 9:05 P. M. Present--- Edward H. McNamara, John T. Daugheity,
William E. Parks, Rudolf R. Kleinert, John F. Dooley and James R. McCann.
Absent-- Sydney B. Bagnall.
The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by S pecial Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure, " and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said
Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the
purpose of determining the necessity of paving West Chicago Road between Merriman
and Hubbard Roads in the East 1/2 of Section 3L, City of Livonia.
Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed
at approximately 9:145 P. M., May 16, 1962.
