MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS
On October 3, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at approximately 9:39 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert,
Edward H. McNamara, *Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G.
Milligan. Absent--None.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to
the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and
all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act. (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held a
public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City.
There were approximately twelve people present in the audience.
Petition #66-3-1-7, for change of zoning in Section 1 from RUF to PS, sub-
mitted by Alexander and Rose Spiro, 14705 Flamingo, Livonia, Michigan.
There were no comments regarding this petition.
Petition #66-5-1-9, for change of zoning in Section 13 from RUF to C-1 and
P, submitted by Antonio Corsi and Maria Gargaro, 5420 Oakman Blvd., Dearborn, Michigan.
There were no objectors regarding this petition.
,-Councilman Raymond arrived at the hearing at 9:45 P. M.
Petition #66-5-1-10, for change of zoning in Section 27 from M-1 to M-2,
submitted by Seymour Weissman for Dale Investment, 15496 Telegraph, Detroit, Michigan.
There were no objectors regarding this petition.
There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at
approximately 9:50 P. M., October 3, 1966.
