HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-05-03 NECESSITY LAUREL & PINETREE 8692 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS ON LAUREL AND PINETREE STREETS IN SECTION 33 On May 3, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 8:16 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jerry Raymond, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, and Jack Salvadore. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled"An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assess- ment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to the property owner in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the L of determining the necessity for the installation of street lights on Laurel and Pinetree Streets in Section 33 in the City of Livonia. There were twelve people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:45 P. M., May 3, 1967. ADDISON W. BACON, Cit, Cl__k
