MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TWO ZONING PETITIONS
LOn October 16, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 8:13 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H.
McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
Hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act, (M.S.A. Section 5.293)4), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold-
Ling a public hearing relative to a request for zoning changes in the City.
There were approximately fifty people in the audience.
Petition 67-6-1-22, submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion
to rezone property located in Section 13 from RUFB to C-1.
There were no comments from the audience regarding the above petition.
Petition 67-6-1-23, submitted by Clarence R. Charest, Attorney for Occidental
Investment Company, for change of zoning in Section 2 from RUFA to R-7.
There were no objections to the above petition.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 9:00 P. M., October 16, 1967.
