MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING
STREET LIGHTS IN BRETTON GARDENS SUBDIVISION NO. 2
On September 13, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at approximately 8:15 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara,
Jerry Raymond, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert
and Robert F. Nash.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of deter-
mining the necessity for the installation of ornamental street lighting with under-
ground wiring in Bretton Gardens Subdivision No. 2 located in the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 2; also certain parcels in Supervisor's Livonia Plat #8, Harold M. Kerr Sub-
division, and Bretton Gardens Colony Subdivision in the City of Livonia.
There were two people in the audience.
As there were no comments or objections, the above hearing was declared
closed at 8:17 P. M. , September 13, 1967.
