MINUTES OF PURTIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS
Le On July 19, 1967, the above Hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 8:06 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Robert F.
Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jerry Raymond, and
Jack Salvadore.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the Hearing
date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other require-
ments of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act, (M.B.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 511.3, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding
a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning in the City.
Petition No. 67-2-1-5, for change of zoning in Section 32, from C-2 to C-4,
submitted by Burl T. Woodward, 37001 Ann Arbor Rd., Livonia, Michigan.
There were no comments from the audience, composed of eight people, regarding
this petition.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:15 P. M.
Petition No. 67-3-1-7, for change of zoning in Section 30 from C-1 and M-1
to C-2, submitted by Leon Merriman of Merriman Realty, 13101 Eckles Rd.,
Livonia, Michigan.
There were no comments from the audience, composed of fourteen people,
regarding this petition.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:38 P. M.
Petition No. 67-4-1-11, for change of zoning in Section 30 from RUF to M-2,
L submitted by Plastomer Corporation, 38040 Amrhein Road, Livonia, Michigan.
There were approximately eighteen people in the audience.

Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:08 P. M.
Petition 67-4-1-14, for change of zoning on property located on the North
side of Five Mile Road between Levan and Newburgh Roads in Section 17 and
on the South side of Five Mile Road between Levan Road and Blue Skies in
Section 19 and the North half of Section 20 from C-2 to C-1, initiated by
the City Planning Commission on its own motion.
There were approximately twenty people in the audience.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed
at 9:32 P. M., July 19, 1967.
