MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING WATER
MAINS ON A PROPOSED NORTH-SOUTH INDUSTRIAL ROAD (WESTMORE AVENUE) AND
ON AN EAST-WEST INDUSTRIAL ROAD (INDUSTRIAL ROAD), IN SECTION 27
L
On May 1, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile
Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council
at approximately 8:00 P. M. Present--Robert E. McCann, Peter A. Ventura, *Edward H.
McNamara, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert and
Jerry Raymond.
The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of
Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special
Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published
and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the
City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity
of installing water mains for proposed industrial development within the west 1/2 of
the northwest 1/4 of Section 27 in the City of Livonia.
There were approximately ten people in the audience.
*Councilman McNamara arrived at 8:10 P. M.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:20 P. M., May 1, 1968.
