MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RFT,ATIVE TO INSTALLING PAVING
AND DRAINAGE ON A PROPOSED EAST-WEST INDUSTRIAL ROAD AND WAYNE ROAD
On March 20, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the
Council at approximately 7:30 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert,
and Jack Salvadore. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, and
Edward G. Milligan.
The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 101,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly
published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as
amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining
L the necessity of installing paving and drainage on a proposed east-west Industrial Road
and Wayne Road, if extended north from the proposed east-west Industrial Road to
Schoolcraft Road, in the north 1/2 of Sections 28 and 29 in the City of Livonia.
There were approximately fifteen people in the audience.
A question from Mr. Thomas Graney, 12963 Stark Road, was given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7:32 P. M., March 20, 1968.
