MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS
On November 27, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 7:09 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Robert E.
McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura and
Jerry Raymond.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding
a public hearing relative to requests for changes in the Zoning Ordinance.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear-
ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other

requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
Petition No. 68-7-1-30 submitted by Ronald F. Huey, D. D. S. for a change
of zoning in Section 15 from RUFC to P.S.
There were approximately twenty-five people in the audience who were interested
in the above petition.
Mr. James Finn, Attorney, 15929 W. Seven Mile, spoke in the petitioner's
behalf. Dr. Ronald Huey also spoke in his behalf.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Mr. Sid Pollick, Attorney for J. J. Stone, had no objections to the following
four petitions being considered simultaneously at this public hearing.
Petition No. 68-6-1-21 submitted by Bonk, Pollick and Wartell, Attorneys for
LJ. J. Stone for a change of zoning in Section 3 from RUFB to P.S.
Petition No. 68-6-1-24 submitted by Bonk, Pollick and Wartell, Attorneys for
J. J. Stone for a change of zoning in Section 3 from RUFB and R-1 to C-1.

Petition No. 68-6-1-23 submitted by Bonk, Pollick andWartell, Attorneys for
J. J. Stone, for a change of zoning in Section 3 from RUFB to C-2.
Petition No. 68-6-1-22 submitted by Bonk, Pollick and Wartell, Attorneys for
J. J. Stone, for a change of zoning in Section 3 from RUFB to P.S.
There were approximately thirty people in the audience interested in the
above petitions.
Sid Pollick, 2161 Guardian Building, Detroit, Michigan, represented the
petitioner.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:18 P. M., November 27, 1968.
