MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
SIDEWALKS ON BOTH SIDES OF FARMINGTON ROAD FROM SCHOOLCRAFT TO FIVE MILE
On May 28, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 7:18 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura,
and Edward G. Milligan. Absent: Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and Robert F. Nash.
There were approximately twenty-five people in the audience.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of review-
ing the assessment roll for the proposed installation of sidewalks along both sides
of Farmington Road from Schoolcraft Road to Five Mile Road in the City of Livonia.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at approximately 7:55 P. M.,
May 28, 1969.
