MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION NO. 68-12-1-)i41
On May 28, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 7:10 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A.
Ventura, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and
Robert F. Nash.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear-
ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold-
ing a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition No. 68-12-1-44 submitted by Chris Scourtes for Northwest Starlit
Television Service Center, Inc. for a change of zoning in Section 36 from
RUF to C-1.
Questions and comments from an interested person were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7:18 P. M., May 28, 1969.
