MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE NECFSSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS ON
HUBBARD ROAD SOUTHERLY FROM PLYMOUTH ROAD ADJACENT TO ST.MICHAEL'S CHURCH
AND SCHOOL SITE IN SECTION 34

On November 5, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 7:06 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, *Peter A. Ventura, Robert E.
McCann, and Robert F. Nash. Absent: *Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jerry Raymond, and
Edward G. Milligan.
Mr. Kleinert, Lay Administrator for St. Michael's Church, was a member of
the audience and spoke in favor of the lights.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
L duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining
the necessity of installing street lights on Hubbard Road southerly from Plymouth Road
adjacent to the St. Michael's Church and School Site, in Section 34, City of Livonia,
Michigan.
There were approximately four interested persons in the audience.
it-Councilman Ventura arrived at 7:15 P. M.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7:18 P. M., November 5, 1969.
