MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION NO. 71-7-2-23 (Waiver Use)
On November 29, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 9:15 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Robert D.
Bennett, and Jerry Brown. Absent: Edward G. Milligan, Jerry Raymond,
Peter A. Ventura, and Robert E. McCann.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of OrcLnance
No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to
a Notice of Public Hearing duly pulished and sent to property owners in
accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public
hearing on a "Wai/ar of Use" Petition submitted by Rodney C. Kropf requesting
permission to fill in a portion of Parcel 1389a2b1 which falls within the
flood plain area on property located on the south side of Grove Avenue, east
of Middlebelt Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13, City of Livonia.
There were approximately fifteen people in the audience.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:32 P.M., November 29,
1971.
