MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET
LIGHTS IN GOLFVIEW MEADOWS SUBDIVISION NO. 1 AND GOLFVIEW
SUBDIVISION NO. 2
On November 29, 1971, the above meeting was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:15 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Robert D.
Bennett, and Jerry Brown. Absent: Edward G. Milligan, Jerry Raymond,
Peter A. Ventura, aril Robert E. McCann.
The President stated that pursuant to tine provisions of
Ordinance No. 4.01, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance
to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, defraying the Expense Thereof
by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise
pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property
owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 4.01, as amended, the City
Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the
necessity of installating street lights in Golfview Meadows Subdivision No. 1
and Golfview Meadows Subdivision No. 2 in the N. W. 1/4 of Section 16 and the
N. E. 1/4 of Section 17.
There were approximately fprty people in the audle-ace.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
coisidoration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the o.fflee
of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was de(,lared closed at 9:10 P. M., November 29,
1971.
