MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING
STREET LIGHTS ON THE INDUSTRIAL ROAD FROM LEVAN TO
STARK, WAYNE ROAD AND GLENDALE AVENUE, LOCATED IN
SECTION 28
On June 12, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:03 P. M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G.
Milligan, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Jerry H. Brown and Peter A.
Ventura. Absent: Jerry Raymond,
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of
Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and
a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing
on Necessity for installing street lights on the Industrial Road from Levan to
Stark, Wayne Road and Glendale Avenue, located in Section 28, City of Livonia.
There were approximately forty persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:15 P.M., June 12, 1972.
