MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR PERMANENT
IMPROVEMENT OF ARCOLA AVENUE FROM MEADOWBROOK TO FIVE
MILE ROAD IN THE N. E. 1/4 OF SECTION 24
On April 24, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:03 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Robert
E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Jerry Brown, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry
Raymond. Absent: Edward G. Milligan.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of
Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and
a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing
on the Necessity for the permanent improvement of Arcola Avenue from Meadow-
brook to Five Mile Road in the N. E. 1/4 of Section 24, City of Livonia.
There were approximately eighty persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:45 P.M., April 24,
1972.
