MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 72-4-2-7 (Waiver Use)
On July 24, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 9:01 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G.
Milligan, Jerry Raymond, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Peter A. Ventura,
Robert E. McCann, and Jerry Brown.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant
to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in
accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public
hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Dennis Novara requesting
permission to construct an automatic car wash with accessory gas pumps as a
waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located on the south side of Grand River
between Inkster Road and Rensellor in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 1, City
of Livonia.
There were approximately fifteen persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:20 P.M., July 24, 1972.
