Bacon City Clerk Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter of the City of Livonia, City Clerk, Addison W. Bacon, presided over the meeting as Chairman of the Couuuission. Upon a motion by Commissioner Bacon, supported by Commissioner McNamara and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that the minutes of the Election Commission Meeting of March 11, 1970 be approved as submitted Upon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that the following list of Election Inspectors be appointed to serve in the August 4, 1970 General Primary Election and Special City Election, and assigned to the several voting precincts of the City as shown #1 #2 Ann P. Upon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that five (5) Absent Voter Counting Boards be established for the purpose of tallying Absent Voter Ballots as required by law, and that the City Clerk make such arrangements as may be necessary to suitably locate said Boards Upon a motion by Coflutissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, it was RESOLVED, that the compensation for Chairmen be set at $32 00 for the day, and that of Inspectors be $28.00 for the day Upon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that having considered a proposal submitted by Info-Data, Incorporated, Southfield, Michigan, dated March 13, 1970, said proposal resulting from an extensive survey having been made at the request of the Commission in connection with its desire to establish and install a completely functional Electronic Data Processing System for Voter Registration Records which would make available the use of modern equipment and facilities to achieve simplification and up-dating and retrieval of data from the system, the commission hereby determines that said proposal be forwarded to the City Council with the recommendation that same be approved and the City Clerk be authorized to proceed with the establishment of the system in the maintenance of voter registration records of the Election Commission.
